Can a daughter’s love stay innocent and unconditional when alcohol addiction drives incalculable cracks into the feeling of security once known? Here, a child wants to give everything to stay connected to her mother in love. But Mom struggles with depression. The fragile family network tips over. Marcjanna Urbańska finds symbols for the disturbing metamorphoses this girl is forced to deal with. Her images for the tenderness and fragility of family ties get under one’s skin.
