Blobs of colour emerge from the darkness and turn out to be the feathered inhabitants of the forest. The bird of paradise wants to attract a companion with its colourful plumage, which doesn’t seem enough to impress the blue bird, though. So it builds a cosy nest. The little blue bird likes that, but a happy end is still not in sight.
